Me and my opinions | |||||||||||||||||
Thanx again for visiting my web-site !! I'm a 16 year old from Scotland, and I happen to love wrestling - I've been watching it since I was little, and although everybody said I'd grow out of it, I never have :) I don't have any interesting stories to tell really - I'm just your average guy, and anyone that knows me will tell you that too. I'm also a big soccer fan - I support Glasgow Rangers, as well as my local team (see the links section of my home page) and I also really like Bayern Munich in Germany. As you no doubt know by now, It's WCW that I watch, and have been for only a few months. I used to be a really big WWF fan, but in my opinion it's totally ridiculous now. My problems with WWF is that there's too many stupid stunts and storylines - Vince McMahon's daughter being kidnapped for instance, I mean, as if his own son is going to kidnap his sister - it's totally not believeable. I'm all for interesting storylines, but when they get riciculous, it just loses it's appeal, to me anyway. I primarily watch wrestling for the fighting, and the sort of gang theme - but the WWF hardly has any good fights except the hardcore matches. Also, the wrestlers I like never win. The wrestlers in WWF, it has to be said, are crap - only good ones are Austin, The Rock, Undertaker, Kane, and Ken Shamrock. All the rest - e.g. Billy Gunn, Val Venis, Road Dogg are absolute second rate - Val Venis is nothing more than a 2nd rate porn star, and I think it's crap that the WWF has lowered it's once high standards, just for the sake of viewing figures on TV. Also, the Big Show Paul Wight, who I still refer to as the Giant - he must be absolutely sick that he left WCW - McMahon just uses the guy, and he gets the shit beaten out of him in every single fight. X-Pac on the other hand, who many WWF fans claim is the best wrestler in the world, was nothing more than a glorified henchman in WCW, and he's also a crock - yet when he goes to the WWF, he turns into a superstar - another example of the WWF's lowering standards. WCW has far better wrestlers, the fights are better, the storylines are at least somewhat believable (a word WWF fans confuse with "boring") and I think it's much better to watch - it's not degenerated into a riciculous circus and freak show, and Eric Bischoff, let's please keep it that way. DISCLAIMER - these views are NOT the views of any wrestling organisation whatsoever - they are my own personal views, and should be treated as such. I am merely a fan voicing my opinions in a world of free speech. | |||||||||||||||||
